Michael Jackson Memorial



Woodlawn Cemetery donated two plots in July 2009 for the burial of memorabilia left at Detroit's Motown Historical Museum in Michael Jackson’s memory. The King of Pop, who signed with Motown Records in 1960 as a member of the Jackson 5, died June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. Two hearses carried stuffed animals, cards, letters and other items from the museum to Woodlawn July 17, 2009 for a memorial service and burial of the items. Click here to read more.
